This position is responsible for safely operating a company box truck to make scheduled deliveries and transfers between Edelbrock facilities, vendors, and customer locations. When not making deliveries, this position will assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and other warehouse activities.

No CDL is required for this position. Candidates should have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be comfortable working in both driving and warehouse environments.

What You'll Do

• Operate a company box truck up to 26,000 lbs. on assigned routes
• Complete scheduled deliveries and transfers between facilities, vendors, and customers
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify products, quantities, and condition of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transportation
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift-gate equipment as needed
• Maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and shipment documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and general warehouse duties when not driving
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirements
• Assist with special or urgent delivery runs as needed

These duties reflect the combination of driving, material handling, documentation, equipment operation, and warehouse support in the existing job description.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• 1-2 years of driving, delivery, or warehouse experience preferred
• Box truck driving experience preferred
• Forklift or material-handling equipment experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic communication and documentation skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position combines driving and warehouse work. Employees should be comfortable spending extended periods driving, standing, walking, bending, lifting, loading and unloading materials, and working around warehouse equipment. The position may also involve working in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
