Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and support a team of branch billing coordinators on a day-to-day basis ensuring timely and accurate billing/invoicing.
  • Organize, assign, delegate, and coordinate the billing team workload to ensure accuracy while meeting objectives and deadlines.
  • Monitor reports and perform internal audits to validate billing accuracy and completeness. Provide real time feedback to team members as needed.
  • Monitor credit/rebill percentages and work with team to identify root causes. Partner with branch location to reduce non-response time for credit disputes from the customer.
  • Continuously work with billing manager to improve billing policies, procedures and guidelines based on analysis of root cause and corrective actions for billing issues.
  • Partner with billing manager, and IT improve systems tools and/or suggest upgrades that will automate and/or streamline the billing process.
  • Coordinate with billing manager and HR regarding employee performance and development.
  • Continuously promote a positive working environment and improve employee morale. Partner with manager to organize employee recognition and celebrations.
  • Manage cross-training within the team and ensure documentation is saved in a central location.
  • Organize and facilitate monthly team meetings.
  • Participate and/or lead projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Level degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills, high level integrity, confidentiality, and work ethic.
  • Expert proficiency with MS Office and specifically, Excel; knowledge of ERP platforms (Oracle preferred), Salesforce, experience in data analysis
  • Attention to detail and organization skills, and results oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Highly analytical with an aptitude to think critically
