Breakfast Attendant

Seeking customer service oriented Breakfast Attendant for Hilton Hotel. 

Position is part-time. Shift is typically 5am-noon

Candidate must be able to work Sunday- Saturday, including holidays. 

Candidate must be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Job Summary: The hotel Breakfast Attendant is an hourly position reporting directly to the Front Office Supervisor. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, cleanup of breakfast preparation and service area, greeting each guest and providing excellent customer service.                                                                                                                                                          

Essential Functions:  

Service:

1. Greets and provides warm professional service to all guests
2. Demonstrates a commitment to guest service by proactively responding to guest needs
3. Sets up and replenishes breakfast service area with food, serving products and utensils
4. Maintains breakfast service area in an attractive, organized, clean manner and per brand standard
5. Completes a daily inventory of food, beverage and supplies
6. Orders food, beverage and supplies
7. Maintains cleanliness and stocks beverage machines/dispensers (coffee, juice, etc.)
8. Upon completion of serving hours breaks down and thoroughly cleans service area
9. Clears and cleans tables as vacated by guests
10. Washes serving equipment and returns to storage
11. Remove trash
12. Returns reusable food supplies to storage
13. Other duties as assigned

 Safety and Security: 

1. Adheres to safe food handling practices
2. Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
3. Recognizes, reports, and corrects conditions which may create security and safety hazards
4. Participates in on-going safety training

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Excellent customer service skills
2. Previous experience in food handling/service
3. Ability to multi-task and be organized
4. Good time management skills
5. Ability to exercise good judgment
6. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English 
7. Ability to obtain certification in food handling/service 
8. Ability to obtain CPR Certification 
9. Ability to complete Brand required training within Brand specified timeframe          

Education and Experience: 

1. High school diploma/GED
2. Certification in food handling/service- preferred  

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

1. Ability to lift 50lbs
2. Ability to push/pull up to 200lb cart
3. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and be able to bend at the waist and stretch above the head
4. This position works with and around several different chemicals during the course of the day
