  • Prepare defined portions of structural plans, details, quantities, specifications, calculations, and design documentation.
  • Perform load-rating analyses for new and existing bridges using applicable standards and established procedures.

  • Perform self-checks, address review comments, and maintain organized calculation and design files.
  • Communicate task status, technical questions, and emerging issues with team.
  • Assist newer staff and interns with routine project procedures and plan-production practices, as appropriate.

Required Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Preferred experience with CAD software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
  • Preferred experience with highway or railroad bridges, retaining walls, drainage structures, or other transportation structures. Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, or owner-specific design requirements
