Position Title: Bridge Load Rating Program Manager -(26140232)
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Bridge Load Rating Program Manager. This position is an experienced and licensed professional structural engineer with a strong background in bridge load rating and management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement bridge load rating programs to ensure safe and efficient transportation infrastructure. • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize bridge load rating projects. • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess bridge conditions. • Analyze and interpret data to determine bridge load ratings and make recommendations for improvements. • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities, engineers, and other stakeholders to promote public awareness and education.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge load rating and management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and project management skills.
