Join Broadcom's Mainframe Software Division for a hands-on summer internship focused on enterprise software and Agile development.

About the Opportunity
Interns will join collaborative Scrum teams supporting mainframe software products used by large enterprise organizations. Each intern will receive guidance from a technical mentor and manager.

Recruiting timeline: Broadcom is expected to contact selected candidates between January and March 2027.

Internship Areas

• Full-stack development
• Assembler development
• User interface and user experience engineering
• Data Science

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and modify software features.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams and cross-functional partners.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Write high-quality, testable code and contribute to automated testing.
• Use DevOps tools, pipelines, and testing frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Graduate student or undergraduate entering junior or senior year.
• Pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Mainframe coursework or IBM Z Xplore experience preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience or coursework with technologies such as Python, Rexx, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring Boot, React, Angular, Node.js, REST APIs, Assembler, Jenkins, Gradle, Cypress, PostgreSQL, or related tools.
• Automation experience preferred.

Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical Screenings (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
