At Buff City Soap, we hand make delightfully smelling soap, free of harsh ingredients and full of plant-based goodness. Founded in 2013, we are a rapidly expanding retail experience with many locations opening nationwide and throughout our region this year.

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting a customer-centric work environment, partnering with the Store Manager and Team Leaders to achieve all Guest service standards. They will support the store manager with team member training, accountability and coaching within a positive, inclusive store culture, in addition to assisting with in-store production of goods, coordinating and overseeing the store and its equipment, inventory, staffing, scheduling, and cash management. The assistant store manager will work to support the store manager and the leadership of the franchise owners.

In addition to these duties, our assistant store managers along with our store managers, make it their mission to be a constant source of clear vision, healthy accountability, and genuine care so the team they lead has the resources and guidance needed to develop personally and professionally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fosters a customer experience culture that is positive, genuine and informative
• Drives to meet or exceed sales goals and average transaction
• Coaches team members as needed, giving appropriate praise and guidance
• Train and coach team members in delivery of exceptional Guest experience utilizing Buff City Soap's Core 4 scripts.
• Train new team members in production of soaps and other products.
• Create orders for raw goods, supplies and PPE as needed/scheduled
• Lead team in meeting and practicing all Safety standards
• Responsible for making sure inventory levels are at par at all times
• Support and execute to regional marketing initiatives
• Assist in marketing events as needed
• Additional assignments as requested by appropriate leadership/owners

REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexible schedule inclusive of opening, closing, weekends and some holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Leadership experience; preference in retail or food service management

• $17.00 an hour

Monday - Thursday | 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Friday & Saturday | 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

Sunday | 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
