Building Maintenance Technician

M-F 7AM - 3:30Pm 

Able to be ON CALL Sat-and Sun


Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of a property. The ideal candidate is experienced in general building maintenance, has strong problem-solving skills, and takes pride in keeping facilities in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of the building and grounds.

  • Complete general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor HVAC work.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

  • Maintain common areas, parking lots, and exterior grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety.

  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend repair solutions.

  • Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

  • Keep accurate records of completed maintenance work and supplies used.

  • Monitor maintenance inventory and request materials as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous building maintenance or facilities maintenance experience preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and repair abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
