Building Operations TechnicianNovi, MI | Full-Time | $20–$25 per HourMedical Alternatives, Inc. is adding a Building Operations Technician to support the daily operation of our facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and has experience handling repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep.Rather than working on one specialty, you'll be responsible for keeping our buildings safe, functional, and looking their best.Why Join Us?Competitive hourly pay: $20–$25/hourFull-time, year-round positionExcellent benefits packageStable employer with over 30 years of serviceIndependent work with a supportive management teamOpportunity to use a wide range of maintenance skillsYour RoleAs our Building Operations Technician, you'll help ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and operating efficiently by:Inspecting buildings and identifying maintenance needsCompleting repairs to walls, doors, ceilings, fixtures, and other building componentsPerforming plumbing and electrical repairsMaintaining HVAC equipment and replacing basic components as neededInstalling or repairing flooring and trimPainting, patching drywall, and completing finish workMaintaining outdoor spaces, including lawn care and seasonal property maintenanceResponding to maintenance requests from staffAssisting with emergency repairs when necessaryScheduleMonday through FridayTypical hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PMFlexibility to stay until approximately 5:00 PM when projects requireOccasional evening or weekend availability for urgent maintenance issuesWe're Looking For Someone Who Has Experience WithCommercial or residential building maintenanceElectrical troubleshootingPlumbing repairsCarpentryDrywall and paintingFlooring installation or repairHVAC systemsLawn and grounds maintenanceYou should also be dependable, organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and comfortable working independently.About Medical Alternatives, Inc.Medical Alternatives, Inc. is a CARF-accredited organization serving individuals with traumatic brain injuries throughout Southeast Michigan.
