Reports to: Principal Pay: $180/daily Employment Terms: Full-Time, 10-Month Position Overview: In the absence of the regular classroom teacher, the Building Substitute Teacher will help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women. Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Teaching, managing the classroom, and building relationships with studentsTake attendanceUse positive reinforcement and conflict resolution strategiesCreate a learning environment that's appropriate for the students' interests and abilitiesAdapt to different learning styles Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or higher Preferred Requirements:Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable.Associates Degree or higher Application Process: Apply online through the Frontline AppliTrack portal.
