The Working Carpenter Foreman is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and performing journeyman-level carpentry work on construction and renovation projects. The role leads on-site teams, coordinates project activities, maintains quality standards, interacts with clients, and ensures construction work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, supervise, and perform rough and finish carpentry work.
Lead and supervise a small on-site construction team.
Perform hands-on carpentry tasks as required.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and other trades.
Complete purchase orders and job-related documentation.
Maintain quality control throughout project execution.
Communicate and collaborate with clients and project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, remodeling, masonry, concrete, and wood construction.
Experience with construction and renovation projects.
Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) procedures is a plus.
Healthcare construction experience is preferred.
OSHA 30 certification and ICRA certification (or willingness to obtain).
Willingness to travel as required.
Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
