Requirements / Qualifications

DOCUMENTS/MATERIALS: -Letter of Interest -Resume -2 Letters of Recommendation QUALIFICATIONS: -Bus drivers must have the ability to operate up to and including a 40 foot vehicle with air brake -Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade -Good driving record; must be able to qualify for District insurance coverage -Experience in the operation of heavy vehicles LICENSES/CERTIFICATES for BUS DRIVERS : -Valid California motor vehicle operator's license, Class B, with passenger and school bus endorsement -Valid California School Bus Driver's Certificate -First Aid Certificate issued by the American Red Cross or US Bureau of Mines, or pass a first aid examination conducted by the California Highway Patrol -Valid medical certificate approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles or the Federal Highway Administration of the US Department of Transportation
