JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Account Executive is focused on winning new business through consistent outbound prospecting. This is a new-logo acquisition role, not an account management position. The Business Account Executive proactively connects with prospective business customers through cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, networking, and other creative prospecting methods to understand business needs and recommend mobile technology and application solutions tailored to each customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING - Establishes and maintains effective working relationships. Gains the trust of others through honesty and authenticity.

• Prospect for new business daily through outbound cold calling, in-person door-to-door canvassing, networking, and other lead-generation methods.
• Build genuine, trust-based relationships with prospective business owners and decision-makers from the first conversation.
• Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with prospective business customers to understand their needs and recommend mobile technology and tailored application solutions.

RESULTS DRIVEN - Owns performance and operates with a high level of personal accountability.

• Meet or exceed daily and weekly activity targets for calls, doors knocked, and new meetings set.
• Meet or exceed monthly new-logo sales quotas and maintain ownership of individual performance results.
• Consistently build and manage a pipeline of new-logo opportunities from first contact through close.

STRATEGIC THINKING - Links business goals to everyday actions and priorities. Makes sound decisions aligned with business goals.

• Prioritize daily prospecting activity based on the businesses and opportunities most likely to convert into new-logo revenue.
• Accurately track prospecting activity and pipeline status in the company CRM to maintain alignment between individual priorities and Victra business goals.

TALENT MANAGEMENT - Owns development and uses feedback, coaching, and reflection to gain insight into strengths and opportunities.

• Continuously develop knowledge of Victra products, services, and competitive positioning in the market.
• Actively seek coaching and feedback from leadership on calls, prospecting activity, and customer meetings, applying feedback to improve performance.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT - Makes change successful by embedding new practices in daily work.

• Adopt new prospecting scripts, tools, and techniques as they are introduced and incorporate them into daily sales activity.

CUSTOMER FOCUS - Tailors service to each customer's unique needs.

• Understand each prospective customer's business needs before recommending mobile technology or application solutions, avoiding a one-size-fits-all sales approach.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

• Prior sales experience preferred, ideally in a role involving outbound prospecting, cold calling, or door-to-door sales.
• Entry-level candidates with strong drive and a demonstrated hustle mentality will be considered.
• Comfortable and confident making a high volume of cold calls and conducting door-to-door prospecting daily.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and able to remain productive in a sales environment where rejection is a regular part of prospecting.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying or activity-metric-driven environment.
• Familiarity with CRM tools for pipeline and activity tracking.
• Experience selling technology, wireless, or business services.

COMPENSATION

• Target total compensation of $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
