Job Title: Business Analyst 1 & 2 Work Location: Frisco, TX / Charlotte, NC / Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Contract duration: 6 months Contract Business Analyst
Sales Enablement
Summary: The Sales Enablement group collaborates with sales, marketing, product, and service teams to build frameworks, processes, and metrics that solve key problems and drive business growth. By understanding clients across all distribution channels using CRM, business intelligence, and other tools, we evaluate and enhance the firm's distribution efforts.
The Contract Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between the Sales Enablement team and the business, translating complex operational challenges into well-defined, actionable requirements that drive technology solutions across Client and related platforms. This role exists to scale the team's requirements development capacity, ensuring the most strategic initiatives are driven forward with the rigor, stakeholder alignment, and documentation quality needed to accelerate delivery.
What You Can Expect in This Role You will be embedded in a fast-moving Sales Enablement team responsible for maximizing the impact of Client and related sales technology for a global sales organization. You will own discovery and requirements development for high-priority workstreams, engaging directly with senior sales stakeholders and technology partners to move initiatives from ambiguous business problem to sprint-ready specification. You will reduce the requirements bottleneck that currently limits how fast the team can execute, and you will produce work that reflects both analytical rigor and clear, compelling communication.
All the Responsibilities We'll Trust You With Discovery and Requirements Development Lead structured discovery conversations with senior business stakeholders to deeply understand operational challenges, current state processes, and desired future state outcomes. Translate those conversations into detailed, well-organized functional requirements documents that technology teams can execute against with minimal back and forth. Own the full requirements lifecycle from initial stakeholder engagement through technology handoff and validation.
Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment Build trusted relationships quickly with business partners, sales leaders, and cross-functional team members. Facilitate alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities, drive requirements through a structured review and approval process, and ensure that sign-off is documented and clear before work enters the development queue.
Backlog Development and Prioritization Continuously build, refine, and maintain a deep and prioritized backlog of well-defined requirements across assigned workstreams. Ensure the technology team always has a clean, sprint-ready queue to pull from and that planning cycles are never delayed by incomplete or underdeveloped specifications.
Problem Solving and Solution Framing Approach business problems analytically and creatively. When stakeholders bring a functional challenge, respond with structured options, tradeoffs, and a clear recommendation rather than defaulting to the simplest available solution. Bring a point of view to the table that elevates the quality and ambition of what gets built.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with product owners and technology delivery teams to ensure requirements are technically informed and platform-aware. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery reviews as needed to maintain continuity between requirements and execution.

They ask why before they ask how, build trust quickly with senior stakeholders, and produce work that reflects both rigor and clarity. They do not need to be managed closely; they need context, direction, and access. They are comfortable in ambiguity, decisive in their recommendations, and collaborative in how they bring others along.
