Requirements
- 5 years or more of experience as a Business Analyst supporting government IT projects, including requirements and process analysis.
- Proficiency in Medicaid business operations, healthcare programs, MMIS, and government technology environments.
- Experience in eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and tracing business rules, processes, and functional requirements.
- Experience with requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, regulations, policies, laws, and process documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Project Server, use cases, process modeling, change control, and requirements repositories.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and future business processes and translate operational needs into detailed functional requirements.
- Elicit and document business rules, workflows, data requirements, use cases, and system requirements.
- Coordinate between business, technical, testing, vendor, and government teams throughout solution delivery.
- Manage requirements changes, traceability, version control, issue tracking, risks, and status reporting.
- Evaluate business processes for automation opportunities and recommend improvements to technology-supported workflows.
- Maintain requirements and process artifacts while providing interpretation and guidance during development and testing.
