    Description:

    CTG is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (ADM) to support enterprise application development and maintenance initiatives for our client. This role is ideal for a functional Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) who can effectively bridge business stakeholders and technical teams.

     

    The successful candidate will excel at gathering and documenting requirements, performing impact and gap analyses, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and supporting application enhancements. Experience in the insurance industry and the ability to understand Java code and web service integrations are essential.

     

    Location: Dallas, TX
    Duration: 4 months

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and application development teams.
    • Perform impact analysis and gap analysis for application enhancements and maintenance initiatives.
    • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and business process workshops.
    • Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
    • Read and understand Java code and application configurations to support analysis and research.
    • Analyze SOAP and REST web service integrations to understand application behavior and dependencies.
    • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to ensure solutions align with business needs.
    • Produce clear, well-documented research and functional documentation.
    • Support testing, implementation, and change management activities throughout the SDLC.

    Required Skills

    • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
    • Impact analysis and gap analysis
    • Ability to read and understand Java code and application configurations
    • Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services
    • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work independently
    • Insurance industry experience (required)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting enterprise Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) environments
    • Experience creating business process maps, use cases, and functional documentation
    • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
