Business Analyst - AI/Data (Mainframe Reports & Extracts)

Location: United States | Payrate: $77-87/hr | 8-10 Years Experience

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting mission-critical Mainframe Reports and Extract initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality data solutions using leading tools like Power BI and Snowflake. Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for multi-faceted report and data projects
• Facilitate business process assessments and design optimized technical solutions with business stakeholders
• Lead data analysis, root cause investigation, data flow mapping, and report development activities
• Oversee user acceptance testing and training, ensuring seamless implementation and stakeholder satisfaction
• Publish and maintain data assets on open data platforms, adhering to best practices and quality standards
• Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with established methodologies
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of proven experience gathering requirements and developing business reports
• Advanced analytical, interpersonal, and collaborative communication skills in English (written, verbal, presentation)
• Strong background in business process facilitation and solution design with business area teams
• 5+ years guiding user acceptance testing, training, and implementation support
• Hands-on proficiency with Power BI and Snowflake (minimum 2 years)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on complex projects

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Oil and Gas sector
