Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in business analysis and functional enterprise application design.
- Proficiency in Agile software development lifecycles and modern iterative delivery methodologies.
- Experience with reverse engineering legacy applications to architect future-state system workflows.
- Experience in creating complex functional artifacts including use cases, user stories, and traceability matrices.
- Experience with translating strict regulatory policies and operational procedures into testable application behaviors.
- Experience in leading functional design reviews and navigating highly regulated healthcare technology environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end functional design, redesign, and modernization of complex enterprise software applications.
- Reverse engineer existing legacy application workflows, data flows, business rules, and system dependencies.
- Architect future-state application behaviors including user roles, task routing, exception handling, and notifications.
- Produce detailed technical artifacts such as process models, functional specifications, and business rule catalogs.
- Evaluate functional design alternatives to resolve requirements conflicts, delivery risks, and redundant processes.
- Facilitate comprehensive discovery and solution design sessions with multidisciplinary technical engineering teams.
- Maintain strict requirements traceability from initial business need through testing and final software deployment phases.
