Job Title: Business Analyst – Digital Finance, Partnership Enablement
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week at the nearest client office

Job Summary

The Digital Product Business Systems Analyst will partner with Product Owners, finance strategy leaders, and internal business users to translate business needs into product requirements, priorities, user stories, system configurations, testing strategies, and adoption plans. This role will support the delivery, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Financial Advisor Partnership Enablement and Incentives systems, serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Product Owners, finance strategy leaders, and internal users to identify business needs, define product priorities, and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
Support the maintenance, enhancement, configuration, and integration of financial planning, analysis, and core finance systems.
Design, document, and optimize financial advisor teaming processes and partnership offerings, focusing on usability, efficiency, controls, and business outcomes.
Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning in collaboration with Product Owners, developers, testers, data teams, and finance stakeholders.
Develop test strategies, test scenarios, test data, and test scripts based on approved requirements and acceptance criteria.
Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, defect triage, and validation of delivered functionality.
Configure and support custom-built finance applications developed using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Oracle Database, including business rules, workflows, metadata, security, data loads, and related system components.
Support post-implementation activities, including system administration, configuration updates, release readiness, documentation, regression testing, and end-user support.
Develop communication, training, process documentation, and education plans to support stakeholder adoption of system enhancements and process changes.
Lead change management activities for smaller initiatives and collaborate with project and change leaders on larger, more complex transformations.
Validate implemented features and enhancements to ensure they achieve intended business outcomes and deliver continuous value to end users.
Analyze technical strategies, system integrations, data flows, and cross-functional dependencies; identify risks and communicate potential business impacts.
Perform descriptive and diagnostic data analysis, including root-cause analysis, impact analysis, scenario analysis, and operational and performance reporting.
Develop working system prototypes, process models, and scenario analyses to support solution design and business decision-making.
Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, configurations, business processes, test results, decisions, and operating procedures.
Promote cross-functional collaboration through knowledge sharing, training, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, STEM, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Hands-on experience in the Financial Services, Tax, or Accounting domain.
At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing, configuring, or supporting custom-built finance systems and related data.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and Oracle Database is highly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of business systems analysis principles, methodologies, and practices.
Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Experience supporting Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, system testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
Experience with data analysis, process modeling, system integrations, and business process improvement.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver finance system enhancements and support user adoption.
