Title: Business Operations Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12 months

Work Engagement: W2

Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting business initiatives and day-to-day execution of operational priorities.

• Works with leadership and business partners to coordinate projects, identify and resolve issues, monitor progress, and improve business processes.

• Reviews operational information, identifies risks and opportunities, and provides recommendations to help the business meet established goals and objectives.

• Support the planning and execution of business initiatives and projects.

• Coordinate activities across business teams and internal partners.

• Monitor project deliverables, timelines, risks, and business needs. Identify operational issues and assist with developing solutions. Review business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Research and analyze business information to support recommendations and decisions.

• Communicate project status, obstacles, risks, and other concerns to appropriate stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain business documentation, reports, and communications.

• Manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Operations and/or compliance-oriented Business Analyst background.

• Experience within middle-office trading environments.

• Hedge fund-related experience.

• Global Markets or broader capital-markets experience.

• Experience operating at the intersection of trading, operations, compliance, and business functions.

• Experience within CIB or another complex institutional banking environment.

• Ability and interest in potentially converting to a full-time employee, should an opportunity become available.
