Job Title: Business Analyst, IT -Legal, Compliance, Risk Role

SUMMARY

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst for our Legal, Compliance, Audit and Risk team within Middle Office Core Platform Organization. This team is responsible for understanding and prioritizing all Legal, Compliance and Audit related requirements coming from various parts of our company and E*TRADE departments like Operations, Operational Risk, Compliance and Audit. This role will act as a Single point of contact as an SME for all such initiatives and the starting point for those discussions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Highly motivated and proactive with an ability to handle multiple areas and be able to complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines

• Utilize his/her skills to identify risk management strategies including credit, fraud and operational risks

• Work with Engineering and technology team to drive implementation of risk controls

• Critically review analysis results seeking opportunities to optimize the LCAR group’s output & provide actionable recommendations to Business partners & Project Manager in order to achieve key objectives

• Partner with Business users, Technology Department, & Project Managers from across the company to ascertain requirements & transform these into a functional specification document.

• Interact with Project Management Office to develop project plans to achieve key business objectives.

• Leverage interpersonal skills to work in a team environment & communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups.

• Create and maintain operational risk and control documentation, including process maps, control narratives, and assessments

• Get involved in producing and supporting risk management reporting to management (e.g. KRI Dashboards, Periodic Risk and Key Issue Reporting, RCSA Testing Results)

• Ensuring that significant risks and issues are appropriately and timely escalated through Operational Risk Management channels

Qualifications:

Basic

• Candidates should have 3-5 years of Technical Business Analysis experience

• Basic knowledge of using SQL commands to understand and work on compliance reporting when required

• Basic Unix/Linux commands - 3+ years of experience

Preferred

• Familiarity with SOAP based architecture and API - 2+ Years of experience

• Experience working on Legal and Compliance requirements - 2+ years of experience

• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence - 2 + years of experience

• Experience working on visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI - 1 + years of experience
