Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Market Analysis in Juno Beach, FL.
Summary:
The Business Analyst will support the Market Analysis IT Standardization and Western Market Expansion initiative. This role will serve as the primary liaison among business stakeholders, Market Analysis, NEM, IT delivery teams, and vendors to drive requirements, project planning, delivery execution, testing, and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, milestone tracking, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications
- Facilitate requirements workshops and document business, functional, data, and integration requirements
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action items, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions
- Create process flows, user stories, use cases, and clear acceptance criteria
- Coordinate Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and release activities
- Partner with business and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, prioritized, and delivered
- Support workflow automation, case management, data integration, dashboards, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and business sign-off
- Prepare executive updates, project dashboards, funding updates, and steering committee materials
- Drive production readiness, documentation, knowledge transfer, deployment planning, and support transition
Requirements:
- Five or more years of Business Analyst experience
- Experience supporting technology delivery, platform modernization, or business transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methods and the software development lifecycle
- Proven ability to gather requirements, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and translate business needs into actionable deliverables
- Experience managing schedules, risks, dependencies, decisions, testing, and project reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Experience in energy, utilities, trading, ETRM, market analysis, or ISO/RTO environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications, AWS, data integration, analytics, and reporting platforms
- Experience coordinating cross-functional business, technology, and vendor teams
- Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable delivery and reporting tools
- Approved business and functional requirements aligned with project objectives
- Clear project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting
- Standardized business processes and technology workflows
- Effective coordination across Market Analysis, NEM, IT, and vendor stakeholders
- Successful user acceptance testing, production deployment, and operational transition
- Improved scalability, operational efficiency, and adoption of the Market Analysis platform
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
