Business Analyst

The Work

Our Digital Modernization Division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to public- and private-sector clients. The Business Analyst will support project execution by eliciting and documenting business requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagement, analyzing and improving business processes, and ensuring alignment between business needs and project objectives. This role will work closely with client stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to support successful delivery of project outcomes.

Job Location: Remote work is authorized.  Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.

What You Will Do

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and project documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist with project planning, scoping, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Support cost, risk, resource, and issue management efforts.
• Develop and maintain project management templates, frameworks, and documentation standards.
• Create and maintain process flows, workflow documentation, and business process models.
• Support backlog management and prioritization activities.
• Prepare meeting materials, status reports, action items, and project communications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements and organizational objectives.

What You Will Bring With You

• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
• Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years
• Candidate must be able to pass successful Public Trust background check
• US Citizenship is required by the federal government for this position
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Management Analyst, or related role.

What We Would Like You To Bring With You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field (desired but not required).
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience supporting project planning, project scoping, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with cost management, risk management, and resource management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to facilitate discussions among business and technical stakeholders.

• Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across business, technical, and client teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple assignments in a delivery-focused environment.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$81,499.00 - $138,549.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
