Business Analyst Specialist

Location: McLean, VA (Full-time, On-site)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Analyst Specialist. This role involves working closely with both business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a team lead.
• Strong expertise in third-party risk management, information security, and operational risk.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including spreadsheet formulas and automation.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SOC reviews, including SOC 1 Type 2, controls, and control enhancements.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst within the mortgage industry.
• Ability to effectively interface between business and technical teams.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in IT audit is preferred but not required.
• Experience in requirements gathering and analysis, process and data flow design, and technical specification design.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Defining project objectives and conducting feasibility analysis.
• Supporting development, Systems Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Developing and documenting UAT test strategies, plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
