The Business Analyst will support enterprise application development, modernization, and digital-transformation initiatives. The position requires extensive experience with requirements management, Azure DevOps, business-process analysis, application testing, technical documentation, and future-state solution design.

The role will work across technical and business teams to gather and document requirements, manage application backlogs, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, analyze current and future-state processes, support testing, and contribute to modernization initiatives involving migration from legacy applications to Azure-hosted solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and technical requirements.

• Support enterprise application development and modernization initiatives.

• Perform business-process and gap analysis.

• Develop current-state and future-state process models.

• Create workflow models and future-state solution designs.

• Develop detailed technical and functional documentation.

• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Create process flows, use cases, and Requirements Traceability Matrices.

• Manage requirements and application backlogs using Azure DevOps.

• Support sprint planning and release tracking.

• Participate in application testing and validation.

• Test custom and commercial off-the-shelf applications.

• Validate reports, large datasets, and dashboards.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements sessions.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Develop requirements specifications and design documentation.

• Maintain traceability between business requirements, technical specifications, and testing.

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups with diverse and competing requirements.

• Support large-scale, high-profile enterprise implementation projects.

• Work across projects involving multiple technologies and business functions.

• Support legacy application modernization.

• Assist with migration from legacy applications to Azure-hosted solutions.

• Collaborate with technical development teams using Visual Studio .NET.

• Support public-sector and human-services-related technology initiatives where applicable.
