    Business Development Associate

    Join a fast-paced and dynamic team where we tackle critical challenges for the Department of Defense in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). Our cutting-edge solutions to enhance the safety and mission success of warfighters in GPS-denied environments.

    We are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to support our growing sales and international business development operations.
    This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a foundation in defense technology sales and business development. You will work directly alongside experienced BD, engineering, and international business professionals, gaining broad exposure to government defense markets, customer engagement, and the full sales cycle. Strong performers will have clear opportunities to grow into more senior BD and sales roles as the role continues to expand.


    Key Responsibilities
    Quote & Proposal Support
    • Prepare quote request packages for internal review and approval
    • Collect required information from BD representatives to support quote generation
    • Track quote due dates, customer deadlines, and proposal submission status
    • Maintain quote archive and revision history
    • Coordinate internal routing and approvals for proposals and responses
    CRM & Opportunity Management
    • Create and maintain accurate customer and contact records in CRM
    • Update opportunity records based on BD representative inputs
    • Identify stale opportunities requiring follow-up and flag for BD team action
    • Support pipeline reporting and data integrity across accounts
    • Create monthly reporting on revenue, bookings, and pipeline status.
    Order & Sales Operations Support
    • Coordinate with operations on order booking and fulfillment status
    • Track internal work order status and communicate updates to the BD team
    • Support new supplier onboarding as needed
    Customer Engagement & Research
    • Monitor shared BD inboxes and route inquiries to the appropriate team members
    • Monitor SAM.gov and other sources to track new opportunities and awards
    Required Qualifications
    • Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
    Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field; or
    equivalent experience including military service
    • Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation and follow-through
    • Comfortable working across teams and willing to learn new tools and processes quickly
    • Proficiency with standard productivity tools (Microsoft Office suite)
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot)
    • Interest in defense technology, national security, or government markets
    • Prior internship or work experience in a sales, business development, or customer-
    facing environment


    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to work in Greenbelt, MD (minimum 4 days in office)
    • Occasional travel may be required
     US Citizenship required.

    Education:
