Description
Position Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator collaborates closely with members of the Marketing and Business Development team, partners and practice group leaders to assist in the execution of business development projects, programs and activities. This position supports practice groups with various business development and marketing initiatives, including targeted client outreach, webinars, sponsorships, podcasts, directory submissions, and proposals and pitches. The Business Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and distribute marketing materials, including firm brochures, practice group descriptions, experience lists, attorney bios, presentations and other collateral materials.
Provide support for business development activities, including seminars, webinars, sponsorships and client or prospect meetings.
Conduct targeted research and competitive analysis to support business development efforts.
Draft submissions for directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, GCR, GRR).
Maintain various tracking systems and databases, including CRM, pitch tracker, collateral library, and experience database.
Assist with special marketing and Client projects as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
B.A./B.S.
Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, business development or a related field in a professional services environment (law firm experience preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex information to identify trends, insights and actionable opportunities.
Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
High degree of professionalism and discretion when managing sensitive information.
