Business Development Lead, Steel Erection

Take ownership of growth for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager seat paying $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, plus Midwest travel.

What the role covers

• Open doors to steel erection projects with Midwest general contractors and owners
• Run pursuit campaigns for structural steel packages on 5,000+ ton jobs
• Stay current on competitor positioning, bid timing, and project pipelines
• Showcase an AISC-certified Michigan erector at industry events and client sessions
• Travel the Midwest corridor to move opportunities toward award

What we look for

• Steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction BD/sales experience
• Familiarity winning work on large-tonnage Midwest jobs
• General contractor, fabricator, or owner network preferred
• Ready for Midwest travel as part of the role
• Clear communicator with a habit of converting pursuits
