Business Development Manager - AISC Steel Erector

Open a Business Development Manager path with an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector focused on large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time compensation of $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, with Midwest travel.

What success looks like day to day

• Cultivate steel erection opportunities with general contractors and owners in Midwest metros
• Own pursuit leadership for major structural packages of 5,000+ tons
• Document market intel on competitors, timing, and project pipelines
• Present an AISC-certified Michigan erector to decision-makers and stakeholders
• Travel the Midwest to close gaps between pursuit and award

Qualifications we seek

• BD or construction sales experience related to steel erection or structural steel
• Success competing for sizable Midwest tonnage packages
• Contacts among general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
• Willingness to travel across the Midwest
• Strong interpersonal skills and a record of closing pursuits
