Job Summary
Remote - United States
The Business Development Manager, Applications – North Central US, Mega Projects is responsible for driving business growth by providing technical sales support, specification development, system design assistance, and field support for Hydronic Cooling, Process Water, HVAC, and plumbing systems. The role partners with engineers, contractors, end users, and sales teams to increase product specifications, deliver technical training, support new product development, and strengthen customer relationships across commercial, industrial, data center, EV battery, and semiconductor markets. This position requires extensive travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams to expand market presence and improve customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Hydronic Cooling, Process Water, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Assist engineers, contractors, and end users with product selection, system design, and specification development.
Deliver classroom and hands-on technical training.
Build long-term relationships with customers, contractors, engineering firms, and channel partners.
Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and field repairs.
Develop technical specifications and promote product adoption.
Attend trade shows, industry committees, and customer events.
Analyze customer needs and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales on new product development.
Manage projects, resolve technical issues, and recommend process improvements.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in technical or field sales.
3+ years of experience in flow control, HVAC, plumbing, or related industries.
Strong understanding of hydronic cooling, HVAC systems, process piping, and fluid mechanics.
Experience in technical training, specification development, and customer support.
Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
