Your role

The Business Development Manager Offroad USA is responsible for accelerating sustainable and profitable growth across strategic U.S. offroad accounts (Excluding CAT, John Deere, Cummins). The role focuses on developing new business on the accounts we have not been performing over the last years by expanding Atlas Copco's presence and positioning our smart integrated assembly solutions across construction equipment, agricultural machinery, mining vehicles, material handling, forestry equipment, and industrial engine manufacturers. Working closely with the U.S. Customer Center as part of the global Station Assembly team, this position connects customer needs with Atlas Copco's products, software, services, and expertise.

This position reports directly to the Global Segment Manager Station Assembly and is part of the Global Divisional team serving the General Industry.

As part of the global Station Assembly team, you will be instrumental in accelerating sustainable and profitable growth with strategic offroad accounts across the United States. Your focus will include manufacturers of construction equipment, agricultural machinery, mining vehicles, material-handling equipment, forestry machinery, and industrial engines. You will work closely with the U.S. Customer Center and global stakeholders to strengthen existing relationships, open new accounts, and position Atlas Copco as a preferred partner.

• Strategic Partnerships: Sophisticated approach to strengthen solutions across our general industry clients through driving distribution, facilities and their suppliers, while driving profitable growth across your territory.
• Account Development: Grow existing accounts and secure new partnerships, expanding Atlas Copco's market share across all portfolio offerings.
• Business Planning: Develop and execute a sound business plan and activity roadmap tailored to your territory, while utilizing and leveraging tools such as Salesforce and PowerBI.
• Sales Execution: Lead and drive all sales processes and strategies to meet targets.
• Customer Satisfaction: Elevate customer satisfaction across all accounts within the defined territory with a responsive and solution-focused approach.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align strategies, share insights, and support shared goals, ensuring that our efforts to drive growth and customer satisfaction are cohesive and well-supported.
• Innovation Introduction: Be the ambassador for introducing new products to customers, showcasing customer-specific value.
• Market Intelligence: Assess our business position in real-time to keep us ahead of the competition. Provide insights and feedback on product needs and competitor activity to our Product Marketing team.

To succeed, you will need

• Education: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in communications, marketing, engineering, information technology, computer science, or related field; plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in job offered or similar occupation in technical sales environment.
• Technical Aptitude: Knowledge of Atlas Copco-brand electric and pneumatic tools and assembly systems; product design and engineering technology; and mechanical engineering and technical understanding to communicate with customers.\
• Sales Skills: Experience with sales programs and strategies (territory growth, account management, or business development), quality assurance, project management
• Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned region, including both domestic and international trips to support sales meetings, client engagement, and business forecasting activities; overnight travel may also be required based on business needs.
