Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
- Develop and execute business development plans for practice groups, industries, and attorneys.
- Advise attorneys on client development strategies, growth opportunities, and market positioning.
- Lead proposal, RFP, and qualification response efforts, including customized content development.
- Analyze client feedback and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
- Oversee attorney visibility initiatives, speaking engagements, rankings, awards, and thought leadership efforts.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and business development results to inform strategy.
Qualifications for the Business Development Manager:
- 7+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
- Strong experience with proposals, client development, strategic planning, and relationship management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
