Drive new business growth across Dallas/Fort Worth and the South Central USA by selling Visy Global Logistics' end-to-end freight forwarding and logistics solutions.

• Leverage established customer relationships and industry contacts to generate new opportunities
• Own a personal revenue target with strong, uncapped incentive upside
• Sell Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics solutions
• Develop opportunities across Industrial, Technology, Automotive, Retail, FMCG and Agriculture verticals
• Dallas-based preferred, with responsibility for the broader South Central USA region

Role Details:

This is a true hunter role focused on winning new business. We''re looking for someone who is currently selling logistics solutions and can leverage existing relationships, industry contacts and active opportunities to generate revenue across the Southcentral USA region.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing new customers across the broader South Central USA region. You will sell end-to-end logistics solutions across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, transportation, warehousing and integrated supply chain services.

We're looking for an experienced freight-forwarding salesperson who is comfortable prospecting, building their own pipeline and leveraging existing customer and industry relationships to generate new revenue.

What you''ll do:

• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities across the South Central USA
• Proactively prospect and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Leverage existing customer relationships and industry contacts to create new revenue opportunities
• Sell solutions across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing and Contract Logistics
• Prepare customer proposals and develop tailored logistics solutions based on individual customer requirements
• Negotiate commercial agreements and convert opportunities into profitable new business
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management and forecasting
• Work closely with operations, commercial, finance, marketing and product teams to deliver customer solutions

Success in This Role Looks Like

• Achieving an annual new and additional revenue target of $1.7M at an average gross profit margin of 15%
• Consistently generating qualified opportunities and bringing new customers to the business
• Maintaining regular face-to-face engagement with prospective and existing customers
• Converting opportunities into profitable revenue
• Building and maintaining a healthy, accurately managed sales pipeline
• Winning new business, rather than simply managing existing accounts
• Growing Visy Global Logistics' presence across the broader South Central USA market

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive sales or logistics experience, with a strong freight-forwarding background and knowledge of international logistics solutions.
• A proven hunter mentality, with demonstrated success prospecting, opening doors, building qualified pipeline and developing new customer relationships.
• A strong deal-closing mindset, with the ability to identify customer gaps and pain points, understand the business impact, match those needs to the right logistics solution, clearly articulate the value and convert opportunities into profitable revenue.
• Experience selling Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Transportation, Warehousing and/or integrated supply chain solutions, with a track record of progressing opportunities from discovery through solution development, negotiation and close.
• Established customer and industry relationships, combined with the ability to independently generate and develop new opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence logistics, procurement and supply chain decision-makers.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined pipeline management, with experience using CRM/sales platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory and nationally as required.
