Job Description
  • Identify new business and product development opportunities that drive sustainable growth and profitability
  • Conduct market research to define current and future market needs, including direct engagement with customers and prospective customers
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
  • Analyze existing and emerging markets to uncover new opportunities
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable inputs for engineering and technical teams to support rapid solution development
  • Support leadership with planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and problem‑solving initiatives
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends, providing regular insights to leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Create and execute short‑term and long‑range plans to increase market penetration and sales within targeted segments
  • Prepare and deliver recurring status and performance updates by product line or market segment
  • Collaborate with original equipment manufacturers, design partners, and contract manufacturers to develop new applications and solutions
  • Drive revenue growth through targeted sales efforts, market expansion, and customer‑driven innovation strategies

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline; MBA preferred
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify market and technology trends
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, and compounding
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or market expansion roles
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective presentations to both existing and prospective customers
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated marketing and negotiation capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple initiatives, and perform well under pressure
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing new ideas, strategies, and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 50%
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a highly autonomous environment
  • Ability to quickly develop deep knowledge of product offerings and their applications
