Business Development Manager - Midwest Steel Erection

Partner with an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector to capture large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager posting at $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, with Midwest travel expected.

Core duties

• Generate and qualify steel erection opportunities across Midwest general contractor and owner networks
• Lead structured pursuits for structural steel erection on projects of 5,000+ tons
• Update pipeline reports covering competitors, bid dates, and target jobs
• Act as primary commercial contact for an AISC-certified Michigan erector
• Travel Midwest markets to advance pursuits and reinforce client trust
