Business Development Manager - Steel Erection (Midwest)

We're hiring a Business Development Manager for an AISC-certified steel erector based in Michigan. You'll grow the company's work across the Midwest and Central US, focused on large-scale structural steel erection projects of 5,000 tons and up.

Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 base plus bonus incentives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and win large steel erection projects with general contractors, fabricators, owners, and developers across the Midwest
• Build and maintain relationships with key contractors and fabricators
• Track upcoming projects and bid opportunities, and maintain a strong pipeline
• Partner with estimating and operations on proposals, pricing strategy, and scope reviews
• Represent the company at industry events, associations, and client meetings

Requirements:

• Business development or sales experience in steel erection or structural steel construction
• Track record pursuing large projects of 5,000+ tons
• Established network of Midwest general contractors and fabricators
• Solid understanding of erection means and methods, scheduling, and safety
• Willing to travel throughout the Midwest
