Business Development Manager Vendor Equipment Finance

Location: Remote/Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE

A rapidly growing equipment finance platform is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive vendor-originated financing programs across small and mid-ticket equipment markets. This role focuses on developing strategic vendor relationships, launching financing programs, and generating lease and loan volume through equipment manufacturers, distributors, and resellers.

The organization has established funding capacity, strong program support, and ambitious growth plans, creating significant opportunity for high-performing sales professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage vendor finance relationships across targeted industries.
  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard new vendor financing programs.
  • Drive equipment lease and loan originations through vendor channels.
  • Work closely with credit, operations, and funding teams to structure transactions.
  • Expand existing vendor partnerships and increase program utilization.
  • Prospect new vertical markets and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of equipment finance products, pricing, and market trends.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in equipment finance, vendor finance, leasing, commercial lending, or related financial services.
  • Proven success developing business through indirect or vendor channels.
  • Strong relationship-building, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Knowledge of lease and loan structures preferred.

  • Dental, veterinary, and chiropractic markets
  • Technology, SaaS, and managed IT solutions
  • Other equipment-focused verticals with established vendor networks

COMPENSATION AND WORK ARRANGEMENT
  • Base salary 75K-150K based on experience.
  • Uncapped incentive compensation tied to vendor program development and funded volume.
