Now Hiring a Business Development & Marketing Specialist

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: President / Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Business Development & Marketing Specialist is responsible for growing the Planet Glass brand, generating qualified leads, creating engaging marketing content, building community relationships, and maintaining a strong online presence. This position combines creativity, technology, and business development while representing Planet Glass both in the office and in the field.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing campaigns; create social media content, photos, videos, and graphics; represent Planet Glass at networking events and presentations; visit builders, contractors, architects, designers, and property managers; build referral relationships and generate qualified leads; coordinate lunch-and-learn presentations and community events; maintain consistent company branding; and track marketing performance and report KPIs.

Digital Marketing & Website Management

Manage Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. Create and monitor paid advertising campaigns, review analytics to improve online visibility, and respond to online reviews and customer engagement.

Content Creation

Capture project photography and video; produce before-and-after videos and customer testimonials; design brochures, presentations, flyers, and digital advertisements; and create blogs, newsletters, and educational content.

AI & Technology

Use tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, and AI video-editing software to improve productivity and marketing performance. Stay current with emerging AI marketing technology.

Required Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort speaking before groups; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; strong social media knowledge; professional appearance and presentation skills; and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Marketing or Business degree, or equivalent experience; photography/videography experience; familiarity with Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite; and graphic design and AI content-creation experience.

Creative thinker, relationship builder, organized and self-motivated, adaptable, professional, and team oriented.

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel throughout Middle Tennessee, walk active construction sites, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds, and work both indoors and outdoors.
