About the role

• Hiring for multiple BDR roles in Chicago. MUST be high octane, hungry to work, great personality, and think like an owner. You do not need to have a background in tradable securities or financial products. Role is based in our Chicago office. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply as well.

Role Description The Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL, responsible for driving growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective investors and institutional clients. This role involves daily outbound outreach via calls, emails, and digital channels, developing and managing pipelines of leads, and scheduling and conducting discovery conversations to understand client needs. The representative will present Corgi Invest's ETF offerings, communicate value propositions, and collaborate with sales leadership to refine messaging and strategies. Day-to-day activities also include maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking performance metrics, supporting marketing initiatives, and providing feedback from the market to inform product development and positioning.

Qualifications

• Great on phones, calling businesses, and getting through to decision makers.
• Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including comfort with outbound prospecting and pipeline management.
• Demonstrated Sales and Business Development experience, with the ability to close opportunities and meet or exceed growth targets.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain investment concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with ETFs, asset management, or financial services, and a genuine interest in capital markets and investment products.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. *NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE A DEGREE.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving startup setting.
• Ethical mindset and commitment to regulatory compliance, client suitability, and clear, responsible communication.
