Seeking a Business Development Representative for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Indianapolis, IN.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving new revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new commercial clients. This role focuses on building relationships with property managers, facility leaders, real estate developers, and other key decision-makers to create qualified opportunities and support long-term business growth. Success in this role requires disciplined prospecting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified commercial opportunities.
Research and target high-value accounts and decision-makers.
Conduct outreach through calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, site visits, and in-person meetings.
Qualify prospects by identifying needs, challenges, budgets, and timelines.
Schedule discovery meetings and support opportunities through the proposal stage.
Communicate service offerings and value propositions effectively.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure opportunities align with operational capabilities and business goals.
Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM systems.
Monitor sales metrics including outreach activity, meetings scheduled, pipeline growth, and revenue opportunities.
Represent the organization at networking events, trade associations, and industry functions.
Provide market feedback and continuously refine sales strategies and processes.

Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience preferred
Experience in commercial services, construction, facilities, or related industries preferred
CRM experience (HubSpot or similar platforms preferred)
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with strong organization and time management abilities
Valid driver’s license required
Work Requirements
Frequent travel for client meetings and networking events
