Full-Time | Inside & Outside Sales | Base Pay + Commission
Mesmen, Inc. is an established, family-owned commercial laundry equipment sales and service company serving South Florida. We are looking for a motivated, personable, and results-driven Business Development & Sales Representative to help take our company to the next level.
The ideal candidate enjoys building customer relationships, finding new business opportunities, closing sales, and providing excellent customer support.
We proudly offer commercial laundry equipment from Speed Queen, Maytag, ADC and Whirlpool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and in-person visits.
- Build relationships with condominium associations, apartment communities, hotels, assisted living facilities, and other commercial properties.
- Promote commercial laundry equipment sales and repair services.
- Respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Manage incoming leads from manufacturers, website inquiries, and customer referrals.
- Develop existing customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Provide professional customer support before and after the sale.
- Coordinate with office and service personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with management to develop sales strategies and expand our presence throughout South Florida.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in business-to-business sales.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in prospecting and approaching new customers.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a small team.
- Comfortable with inside and outside sales.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid driver's license.
- Commercial laundry equipment knowledge is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $20–$24/hour starting base pay, depending on experience.
- Additional commission on qualifying equipment sales.
