About the Role:
SERVPRO of Southwest Portland is looking for a driven and personable Business Development Specialist to help grow our presence in the Portland, OR market. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a nationally recognized brand while building meaningful relationships with local businesses, property managers, and insurance professionals. Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business relationships with commercial clients, insurance agents, and property managers
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, and client presentations to drive revenue growth
- Maintain and grow an existing book of accounts through consistent follow-up and relationship management
- Represent SERVPRO at local industry events, trade shows, and community organizations
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software
- Develop and execute territory-based marketing strategies to increase brand awareness
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
- Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, or property services is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
