Job Description

• Help develop case strategy and advance business and commercial litigation matters.
• Research legal issues and prepare persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Support discovery, analyze evidence, and help prepare for depositions and hearings.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate with clients, and keep assigned matters moving forward.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of business litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• A North Carolina or South Carolina bar license.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• An independent, adaptable approach and the confidence to take initiative.
• Strong academic credentials are preferred.

• Required Years as Associate: 2+
• If remote: Must reside within 75 miles of the assigned office in Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, or Wilmington, NC. Not nationwide remote.
• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 2 to 3 yrs, $185K to $205K; 
• 4 to 5 yrs, $205K to $225K; 
• 6+ yrs, $225K to $245K.
