Business Operations Specialist

Payrate: $34.00 - $35.00/hr.
 
Summary:
As the program accelerates toward key release milestones and supports multiple workstreams across Sales, Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commerce, existing process engineering resources are operating at capacity. This gap creates challenges in stakeholder availability, decision-making speed, and dealer engagement, increasing risk to delivery timelines and product quality. A TPL Process Engineer will provide immediate, flexible capacity to support dealer discovery workshops, process validation, requirements development, and cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, architecture, and deployment teams. The role will serve as a critical bridge between dealers and the product organization, enabling faster feedback cycles, improved backlog readiness, stronger requirements quality, and more effective alignment between dealer business needs and product delivery.
 
Responsibilities

• Own the End-to-End (E2E) Business Processes as defined by the Business Process Catalog (BPC).
• Define detailed business processes across Levels 4–6.
• Work with Dealers to generate requirements based on business processes.
• Partner with Product Teams to determine fit/gap against Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Lead Dealer Discovery Workshops and prepare materials/questions.
• Validate gap solutions with Dealers.
• Source insights from the Dealer Advisory Board (DAB).
• Maintain Mavim (process flows, documentation, operational playbooks).
• Coach Dealers on Dynamics 365 and Cat Converge Suite.
• Conduct Business Process Modeling analysis and improvement.

 
Qualifications

• Degree or Finance or Accounting certifications.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and customers.
• Mavim repository management.
• Documented Dealer Requirements.
• Dealer sign-off on Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Solution demos to support Dealer education and discovery.
• Business Process Flows down to the L5 level.

 
Skills

• Workshop facilitation and stakeholder alignment.
• Proficiency in process modeling tools (Mavim or similar).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
• Analytical and structured thinking.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $34.00 - $35.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
