Business Performance Supervisor Reports to: Finance Manager
Role Summary Co-leads budget execution, management reporting, financial performance monitoring, OPEX visibility, budget control, and working capital improvement processes across the organization. The role focuses on consolidating financial and operational information, monitoring execution against approved plans, analyzing performance and working capital movements, identifying key variances and value drivers, and coordinating action plans with relevant stakeholders to improve cash generation and financial discipline. The role is also responsible for continuously improving the quality, timeliness, consistency, and relevance of management reporting. This includes identifying opportunities to simplify and automate recurring reports manual financial processes, allowing the Finance team to dedicate more time to strategic analysis, business partnering, and decision support. The role partners cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other business stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable reporting, consistent financial monitoring, stronger visibility into business performance, and the development of actionable insights that support sound management and executive decision-making. Purpose Lead budget versus actual monitoring, management reporting, financial performance visibility, OPEX tracking, and working capital improvement activities by consolidating financial information, monitoring execution against approved plans, maintaining visibility over key working capital movements, and providing timely management insights and action-oriented recommendations to support operational and financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Lead budget execution monitoring and budget control processes across business units.
• Monitor budget execution through budget versus actual analysis, identifying performance deviations, cost drivers, spending trends, and operational impacts.
• Own OPEX monitoring and spend visibility processes, ensuring adequate tracking and reporting of operational expenses against approved budgets and established financial expectations.
• Monitor performance against approved budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing visibility into execution results.
• Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and executive management reporting packages, including financial performance, KPI monitoring, variance analysis, operational trends, working capital performance, and business insights.
• Consolidate and communicate business performance results, providing executive visibility through standardized reporting and performance analysis.
• Maintain reporting repositories and reporting tools to ensure consistency, data quality, and accessibility of business information.
• Monitor, analyze, and maintain up-to-date visibility over the main working capital movements and variances, including accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, and other relevant working capital components.
• Identify the key financial and operational drivers behind working capital variances and assess their impact on cash flow and business performance.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to define, track, and execute action plans aimed at improving working capital performance.
• Look for targets for working capital improvement initiatives and regularly follow up on progress and results.
• Monitor and report working capital indicators, such as days sales outstanding, days inventory outstanding, days payable outstanding, cash conversion cycle, and related business performance metrics.
• Proactively identify working capital risks and opportunities and provide management with recommendations to improve cash generation and financial discipline.
• Provide reporting and analytical support for executive reviews, business performance discussions, working capital reviews, and leadership presentations as required.
• Support additional reporting, budget monitoring, working capital improvement, and financial performance initiatives as needed. Knowledge • Strong knowledge of budgeting processes, financial monitoring, management reporting, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of budget execution, OPEX monitoring, KPI tracking, and business performance indicators.
• Knowledge of financial reporting practices, cost visibility, and performance monitoring processes.
• Strong knowledge of business performance review processes within the cement and ready-mix concrete industries, including the main operational, commercial, and financial drivers of performance.
• Understanding of the key value drivers and performance indicators relevant to cement manufacturing and ready-mix concrete operations, including volume, price, product mix, production efficiency, logistics, energy consumption, fixed costs, and inventory movements.
• Strong knowledge of working capital management, including accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, and the cash conversion cycle.
• Practical know-how in identifying, developing, and monitoring action plans to improve working capital performance and following action plans up with key stakeholders.
• Ability to identify the root causes of working capital variances and translate findings into practical actions to improve cash generation.
• Deep understanding of cost processes, including product costing, standard and actual costs, cost allocation, manufacturing variances, inventory valuation, fixed and variable costs, production costs, freight and logistics costs, and cost of goods sold.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between operational performance, cost behavior, profitability, working capital, and cash flow.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of financial systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and reporting repositories.
• Understanding of corporate finance environments and financial performance management.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial and operational information into actionable business insights. Problem Solving

Experience & Education
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, management reporting, business finance, financial reporting, or similar roles.
• Experience in budget monitoring, management reporting, KPI tracking, variance analysis, OPEX monitoring, and financial performance reporting.
• Experience supporting executive reporting and business performance visibility.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
