    Salary Range:$75,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually
    JOB TITLE: Business Planning Sr. Analyst
    REPORTS TO: Business Planning Manager
    Job Type: Full Time Employee, Exempt
    DEPARTMENT: Business Planning
    LOCATION: Commerce, CA
    SUMMARY
    Leads the preparation of reports and analyses to support managements strategic decision-making. Independently manages and drives various cross-functional projects, and investigates, organizes, and analyzes complex business data. Provides insights by collecting and synthesizing information, and monitors performance on a weekly and monthly basis. Requires strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization.
    JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to the following:
    • Ensure all financial and operational plans reconcile and align with corporate growth objectives.
    • Lead and coordinate meetings with colleagues and management; document, track, and follow up on key action items.
    • Oversee project execution to ensure tasks are completed on time; communicate status updates and escalate critical issues when appropriate.
    • Monitor business and operational changes, proactively identifying risks and ensuring plans remain accurate and relevant.
    • Prepare, analyze, and lead weekly/monthly forecasts; identify performance gaps and propose corrective actions.
    • Develop, standardize, and enhance metrics and dashboards for measuring and tracking performance.
    • Implement and enforce internal guidelines, controls, and compliance policies.
    • Partner with management to identify process improvements and design new reporting frameworks that support business growth.
    • Proactively identify process enhancements, propose new ideas, and build reporting frameworks to support the companys growth.
    • Conduct advanced research and data analysis, providing actionable insights and recommendations to executives.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior analysts/associates when required.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize effectively, and deliver actionable insights that influence management decisions.
    • Bachelors degree in business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum 35 years of relevant work experience in business planning, finance, consulting, or related field; F&B / retail / franchise industry experience strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to translate data into business insights.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present findings and recommendations to senior management. Bilingual (English and Korean) is a must.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling) and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or SQL preferred.
    • Prior work experience at a Korean company is a plus.
