Business Process Analyst - AI & Process Innovation

Dellbrook Construction is seeking a Business Process Analyst – AI and Process Innovation to help improve how departments and teams work together by combining business analysis, data, automation, and practical AI solutions. Reporting to the Director of IT, this role partners with business leaders and end users to identify more efficient processes, reduce manual work, improve data quality, and turn emerging technology into measurable business value. The ideal candidate is a business-minded problem solver who is comfortable learning new tools, analyzing data, working with technical teams, and asking: “Why are we doing it this way, and how could we do it better using technology and AI?”

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Improvement

·       Analyze workflows, systems, and business data to identify more efficiencies, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.

·       Document current- and future-state processes, business requirements, user stories, and success criteria.

·       Define reporting, dashboard, analytics, and data quality needs with IT and business leaders.

·       Recommend improvements that simplify and standardize processes, automate work, reduce costs, and enhance reporting.

AI, Automation & Innovation

·       Identify and evaluate AI, automation, machine learning, and generative AI use cases that improve efficiency, data quality, decision-making, or project delivery.

·       Continuously develop AI-assisted workflows, prompts, pilots, and use cases with IT and business stakeholders, from concept through testing and adoption.

·       Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, security, privacy, and usefulness.

·       Define appropriate review, approval, and adoption practices for AI-enabled work.

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

·       3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, technology implementation, or related work.

·       Experience documenting processes, gathering requirements, and improving workflows.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

·       Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies.

·       Must have experience with Microsoft tools, data, reporting, BI tools, and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders; familiarity with Procore is preferred.

·       Ability to drive to training centers, walk  job sites and commute to other venues to learn the way Dellbrook operates to assist in creating AI assisted workflows. 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience implementing AI, automation, workflow, or BI solutions such as Power Automate or Power BI.

·       Familiarity with APIs, integrations, databases, enterprise applications, and process modeling tools.

·       Experience developing AI prompts, agents, or AI-enabled workflows and evaluating solutions for security, privacy, accuracy, and ROI.

·       Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, manufacturing, or other project-based industries is a plus.
