Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Business Process Designer for a Contract job with a client in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), along with the ability to work closely with technical and middleware teams to support complex integration requirements.

Rate Range: $67/hour to $69/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Process Designer Job Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze, design, and support SAP SD Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes to ensure alignment with business and operational requirements.

• Lead EDI-related initiatives, including interface analysis, mapping requirements, testing support, troubleshooting, and process optimization activities.

• Collaborate with SAP technical teams, middleware teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to design and maintain EDI integrations across multiple business functions.

• Support interface mapping, transaction processing, data validation, error resolution, and integration testing activities related to EDI and SAP environments.

• Gather and document business requirements, develop functional specifications, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements.

• Participate in configuration reviews, testing cycles, deployment activities, and post-production support to ensure stable and efficient business operations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of five to six years of hands-on experience working with SAP SD and EDI integrations in enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Order-to-Cash processes, including customer orders, delivery processing, billing, and interface management.

• Extensive experience working with EDI transactions, EDI mapping, interface design, middleware integration, and business-to-business data exchange processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or support environments.

• Knowledge of middleware integration platforms and enterprise application integration frameworks.

• Experience troubleshooting EDI transaction failures, interface errors, and integration performance issues.

• Familiarity with supply chain, distribution, logistics, customer service, and order management processes.

• Experience supporting testing activities including integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production validation.

Pay Details: $67.00 to $69.00 per hour
