Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Business System Analyst to support a local team in the downtown Columbia, SC area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing and test management, strong stakeholder management experience, and open to working hybrid/onsite.
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting company wide development, implementation, and application enhancement projects by leading requirement gathering/analysis activities and leading test planning/defect tracking.
Duties:
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and manage requirements gathering/analysis to ensure strategic alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to translate business requirements into functional requirements and create technical workflows to support delivery efforts.
- Evaluate system capabilities and perform gap analysis to identify any opportunities to improve business processes or system workflows.
- Develop and execute test plans, building test cases and scripts for new software
- Review performance logs, database operations, and production data to investigate bugs or application behavioral errors.
- Track defects within JIRA and support QA/Development teams in resolving production issues.
- Provide regular updates and communications with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:- Experience as a business systems analyst
- In-depth requirements gathering and analysis work
- Hands-on software planning and testing experience
