Business Systems Analyst GCP Cloud

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to bridge business requirements and technical solutions across cloud-based applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management, along with a solid understanding of GCP services and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for cloud-based applications and solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and cloud engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Develop BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications .
• Support GCP cloud migration, modernization, integration, and application enhancement initiatives.
• Understand and work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Run, IAM, and Compute Engine .
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand cloud architecture, data flows, APIs, integrations, security, and system dependencies.
• Support SIT, UAT, test planning, defect management, and production implementation .
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work with Product Owners to prioritize requirements and maintain the backlog.
• Analyze data and system behavior to identify issues, root causes, and opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare process documentation, dashboards, reports, and presentations for business and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst supporting IT applications or technology initiatives.
• 2+ years of experience working on cloud-based projects , preferably GCP.
• Hands-on understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud architecture.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation experience.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications .
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working with APIs, system integrations, databases, and data flows.
• Strong SQL/data analysis skills preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
